World Osteoporosis Awareness Day

1/5 women and 1/20 men over 50 years of age will receive a diagnosis of osteoporosis. Many people don’t even know they have it until they fracture a bone.

Let’s change that! Prevention is your best defense.

Make sure you get enough Calcium and Vitamin D in your diet (natural sources are always better than supplements). And, make sure you include high or low impact weight bearing exercise, resistance/strength training, and functional and postural exercises in your daily movement program.
